Thing Custom Action Figure

Well, here is my first official "Superhero" custom... I was initially disappointed with Hasbro's ML Fantastic Four line, but I decided that with a little tweaking, some of them could be decent figures. I particularly did not like Thing's color, he just looked too bright and glossy. Plus, his neck had this bulky mass of stone which made it look like he had a collar of some sort. So this is not really a custom so much as an alteration, I took the Thing and carved down the bulky collar like formation around the back of his neck and resculpted the stone texture there. I then filled in the cracks by painting them dark brown and wiping off the excess paint. I think this process really made the Thing look more 'rock-like'. I think it also made his facial features more prominent. More FF alterations are coming...
