I have to thank Pulpyfiction for the completion of this custom. I have been stuck in a rut of late and with his enthusiasm, support and inspiration I got motivated to get back to the work bench.

Zartan has been a custom I've been wanting to make for a long time. I had a certain vision for this character that conflicted with his traditional look so I changed a few things. First of all the bare mid-driff never made sense to me so I made his armor go the length of his torso. I didn't like the bare arms but it was too central to the character to change so I left that part alone. To me Zartan was a spy type infiltrator so guns made absolutely no sense. So for his arsenal I gave him a bow and arrows, a knife and a small throwing knife in his boot. Speaking of his boots I love big combat boots but for Zartan I wanted him to have a heel-less sole that would make very little noise so he can creep around and sneak up on people.

Over the years I've tried many different parts but none seem to work. Finally I found the parts that made sense to me. I want to see how good you guys are at identifying the base figures. So guess the figures I used. I will tell you that the entire torso, arms and hands came for one figure and the pelvis, legs and boots from another figure. I think the head is pretty easy to guess but you will get extra points for guessing where I got the hood, shoulder pads, and weapons from i.e. knife, arrows, quiver. I will tell you the recipe later after I see how good you guys really are. So the gauntlet has been thrown, have fun guessing and as always thanks for checking out my work.

Thanks for the awesome comments and playing along with the parts guessing. You guys are great guessers and I am super impressed.

Head: ML Winter Soldier
Pelvis/legs/boots: ML Nick Fury Series 5

I love this concept for Zartan, the stealthy stab you in the back whilst sneaking around in disguise, the silent thwip of an arrow all lend so well to the character. I like how you assembled, and the colour scheme is great. Great work!
p.s. - really sorry about the lateness to the post, this is awesome stuff!
