Scratch built figurine of the Cell Minigunner character from the Xbox 360 video game Crackdown 2, by Ruffian Games/Microsoft Game studios. The figure is made from a grand total of roughly 120 different components (that's including all the fragments of glass and bullet casings on the base). Most parts were hand sculpted from FIMO polymer clay, although a few bits were made from cardboard or even paper.
It was painted using various different acrylic model paints, some of which were prone to slightly wearing off the model through handling, which was a bit annoying as it meant I had to repaint some sections that I'd already done in meticulous detail but had been worn away.
I'm still very much learning about modelmaking, and as such there are still a lot of mistakes and areas that look a bit naff on close inspection, but overall I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.
Scratch built from 120 parts? WOW!!!!!
Great attention to detail and I love the paint apps
