I saw a Metalhead in the store and it brought me back to the day's of the original Metalhead figure. I had to have it. First, I added articulation to the arm sockets at the shoulders and then I went all out with alternate arms, added a wire to the top of the head and mods with the buzzsaw and the wiring on the stomach and other armor plates from a gears of war figure. Repainted the whole thing and he's a one and done. What would happen if this version of Metalhead went against the Turtles like in the video games on Nes and SNES?

The figure looks great, especially the extra arm attachments, but I think you overdid it a bit on the black paint wash (too dark).

I must politely disagree. I think a robot clanking around in the sewer is bound to pick up some soot (among other unpleasantness). I can say from my days in the Navy EOD those little robots never come out of a hole as bright an shiny as when they went in.

Not familiar with the updated figure, I had to google some images of him to compare you custom with and I must say, I'm very impressed. Much like a lot of the new line, I'm not a fan of many of the redesigns and cost cutting measures but you've managed to seriously upgrade ol' Metalhead here. I really like your new paint job and those extra arms are the jam! Top marks from me.
