A custom figure of Yeyinde, alias Dachande (Different Knife) or Broken Tusk from Alien vs Predator: Prey (eg the original AVP novel/comic). I felt this guy deserves a figure and the storyline he was featured in should have been the real AVP movie rather than the two Hollywood went with. I used a NECA Masked Jungle Hunter for the base of the figure. I also used a roaring Jungle Hunter head as his alternate unmasked head (and added his warrior scar with Aves Studio Apoxie Sculpt). The Xenomorph skull on his chest armor was made from a broken McFarlane Dog Alien and the Burner (the gun) came from the Kenner Renegade Predator. His glaive was fashioned from a mix of fodder parts I'd taken from G.I. Joe figures and the spear of the Renegade Predator. The gripping hand came from the NECA Classic Gort Predator. All the rest of his gear was sculpted from Aves Studio Apoxie Sculpt. I kept the backpack because Dachande did have one in the comic adaption, but I removed the plasmacaster as he never used one. The wires in his bio mask were made from earphone wires. Painted using Citadel Paints.

Nice Sculpt work. He does need a figure. He's one of the most well known Predator characters.

Thanks a lot! Sadly, I've noticed a lot of newer AVP fans have no idea who he is, they only know of the characters from the films (I've often had people on other sites mistake work I've done of Machiko for Lex). I really wish the original storyline could get a film adaption, but chances of that are slim. They once attempted it, but in the end they felt it would cost too much money. I'm actually planning to make a few more characters from the comics, namely Machiko, Light-Stepper and Big Mama.

He was the baddest Pred there was in a comic. Too bad the Queen got him in the end. Even Hot Toys Machiko is incorrect, because she has the T mark and not the Lightning mark. I'll get around to making a version of this guy to go with my Top Knot some day.

Agreed on all accounts. I got a used/customized HT Machiko, but it still had the Xenomorph mark rather than the lightening bolt. I'm tempted to fix it, but I'm reluctant to out of fear I'll mess it up lol. I am currently sculpting the armor for the 7" one since I finally got a good base figure for it. Should have it finished in the next day or two.

Thanks a lot! I learn more each time I make one. A lot of the tutorials I've reviewed on here are a big help, too.

Awesome! I love that Xenomorph skull on his chest armor!

Thanks! Some mistake it for a Chestburster, but it's actually a trophy skull he wore in the comic. Not sure why he chose the chest plate of all places. xD
