Bane (Secret Six) Custom Action Figure

Custom #:45378
Name:Bane (Secret Six)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:D.C. Universe
Creator:WhiskeytangosCustomShop
Date Added:December 20, 2012
Base Figure:Mattel wrestler
Height:7.50 inches
A couple years back i made a Bane that turned out just terribly. I'm embarrassed to look at it now. It was this weird mish-mash of parts that i thought looked great at the time, and man... it didn't. So I've always wanted a second crack at him, but could never find the right combo of parts. Low and behold, i see this new Mattel wrestler in target the other day, and he's perfect. Tall, wide, just powerful looking, but not ridiculous. I'm a fan of Secret Six, so i wanted him to portray how he appears there, not all venomed up.

So i got the figure, switched his boots out for non-lace ups, switched his hands with sota guile, and did some sculpting. Had to bulk up his forearms a bit, those wrestlers always have tooth pick forearms. Now here he is. New and improved.

To me this version of yours is fantastic! You've created a realistic Bane... a big guy who could really give Batman a world of hurt, but not soooo over-the-top big like that of the comics and action figures that came before.

Dayuuum, that is a mighty fine Bane. I'd be curious to know the base as well! Ezekiel Jackson, maybe?

Now THAT is how Bane is supposed to look. I have no idea what Nolan was smoking when he envisioned his take on Bane....
NeCrollector - Thursday, December 20, 2012
I have to agree! Not to mention that 'Darth Vadery Sean Connery' voice they went with!
THWIP71 - Thursday, December 20, 2012
I think he wanted Bane to match Batman in the "painfully awkward voice inflection" department.
WhiskeytangosCustomShop - Thursday, December 20, 2012
Thanks thwip... I like Nolans Bane to be honest

Looks great, but man is Bane beating the turds out of that aim soldier. LOL! Where's Batman when you need him?
WhiskeytangosCustomShop - Thursday, December 20, 2012
That AIM soldier deserves it. He made someone paint all that yellow.
