A couple years back i made a Bane that turned out just terribly. I'm embarrassed to look at it now. It was this weird mish-mash of parts that i thought looked great at the time, and man... it didn't. So I've always wanted a second crack at him, but could never find the right combo of parts. Low and behold, i see this new Mattel wrestler in target the other day, and he's perfect. Tall, wide, just powerful looking, but not ridiculous. I'm a fan of Secret Six, so i wanted him to portray how he appears there, not all venomed up.
So i got the figure, switched his boots out for non-lace ups, switched his hands with sota guile, and did some sculpting. Had to bulk up his forearms a bit, those wrestlers always have tooth pick forearms. Now here he is. New and improved.
