I've been collecting parts for Griffin for a while now. I'm really happy with how he turned out. Griffin has had so many looks over the years that I was pretty much free to do what I want. Sometimes he has bird feet, sometimes lion feet. Sometimes he has a lion face, sometimes a human face. Sometimes his wings are white, sometimes brown. I just mixed and matched to get a design I liked.
Head: DCD Kalibak
Body: ML Beast
Tail: some random Dinosaur figure
Wings: Birds of Prey Angel
Arm bands: Stryker
The tail is connected as the base, but I added a cut joint halfway down so it has some movement. Connecting the wings was a bit of a challenge. I cut out most of Angel's back and transplanted it onto the Beast, securing it in place with lots of hot glue, then sculpting over it with some fur.
