My friend purchased a Hot Toys Iron Man 2 figure and wanted it painted up in a stealth blue color scheme. Why? Well, his brother wore a custom made life size stealth blue Iron Man 2 costume at this past summers SDCC 2012. This is his Christmas gift. Brotherly love!
Recipe:
Hot Toys Iron Man 2 with battle damage
repainted in metallic blue
had to repaint part of the face because I got some blue over spray on it but it blended in good
I repainted all the battle damage and gave it a weathered effect too
painted the clear lenses with clear red
clear coated

also repainted the cover art on the box to show a transition from red/gold to blue stealth

I don't know who got the bigger balls the guy who commissioned this or you for painting on a Hot toys IM. But it looks amazing. At the end of the day I guess it wasn't that big of a gamble at all. Your paints are the best out there.

wow freddie. id actually consider hot toys figures if they looked this cool (and weren't insanely expensive). this is top notch work. the stealth would have been one thing, but the battle damage too makes this incredible.
