The Cherub Custom Action Figure

Custom #:45474
Name:The Cherub
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:My Heroes
Date Added:December 24, 2012
Base Figure:DCD Spectre
Height:6.00 inches
From the center of the cloud came four living beings that looked human, except that each had fourfaces and four wings. Their legs were straight, and their feet had hooves like those of a calf and shone like burnished bronze. Under each of their four wings I could see human hands. So each of the four beings had four faces and four wings...Each had a human face in the front. The face of the lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle at the back. Each had two pairs of outstretched wings-one pair stretched out to touch the wings of the living beings on either side of it, and the other pair covered its body. (Ezekiel 1:5-8,10-11)

This is the other challenge which Firefly presented to me some time back.
Seeing how this marks my 50th Angel custom, I figured this was a good way to mark the occasion.

I started with a DCD Spectre base.
The Human head is a ML Doc Samson head.
The animal heads come from various animal toys. (No animals were harmed in the making of this figure)
The extended wings come from a ML Archangel.
The covering wings come from a XMC Archangel.
The Hooves were scuplted and attached by yours truely.

The covering wings are attached to the arms.
The animal heads are attached via apoxie sculpt.
The extended wings are attached via a couple of screws and some glue into the apoxie sculpt that holds the animal heads.

I hope you Like it!
Thanks for looking!

Merry Christmas too you all!!!

Ha ha, I'm actually using that lion head on something right now. It's a pain in the butt to get off, though.

I forgot to mention that I got the inspiration for the design from The Action Bible, which is esentially the whole Bible in comicbook form.

Yes, I've heard about a while back. Aside from customizing & publishing my own Christian superhero comics, I moderate a group of Christian comic artists/creators on facebook. A group of them are creating Bible comics for the coming year. Anymoo keep those angels coming!
