This was a really easy custom done on a whim as a way to wind down. The base figure was nearly perfect for what I wanted. It's not accurate to the way Grayson looked as Batman (but then there were a half dozen versions), so consider this is my version of him. I gave him longer gloves and three scallops like he has now as red Nightwing (why they gave him 2 I dunno. Are they like merit badges?)

I swapped his forearms with a Sinestro Corps Batman and gave him a new paintjob. A little sanding and buffing and a pair of repainted escrima sticks taken from a ML Moon Knight and he was done.

Its pretty good job you did, especially the paint apps and the modded arms. I agree, its difficult to make a Richard Grayson Batman that doesn't come off too much like its THE Batman, but then again, the one in the comic also makes me think its too much like Bruce Wayne as Batman than a different person in the cowl, which was only easier to pull that kind of thing off with Batman Beyond. Still, its a lot of work you did on it, and it does look noteably different on its details. Well done on making this.

Thanks for the insightful comments. Yes, I wanted a Grayson Batman that looked unique but still looked like a worthy Batman. Always liked the idea of Grayson stepping up as a successor. Hurray for character growth and all that.
