Carter Sword was a 24-year old Israeli soldier who was approached by Asgardian god Heimdall and become a Young God.
At Odin's command, this Israeli soldier was led by Heimdall to the place where Ego-Prime was about to transform the world into another living planet like Ego. His energy was absorbed into Carter Dyam and two others, transforming them into a new generation of gods.
