I made the now slightly bulbous eyes, the spider on his back, and covering to hide the webbing that goes down the arms with fixit putty. From there, it was mainly repainting areas to make his costume resemble the new look that the now 'Superior' Spider-Man is sporting. I also tried really hard to turn the 'sausage fingers' that the base figure is infamous for to look more claw-like or have a sharper appearance, but since I'm selling the figure I was afraid to go too far and end up destroying one of his hands. I had a similar concern about making the big toe on each of his feet, but that went a little better. I have started many customs and finished some that are 'just for me' but since this is my first custom that I'm sharing with the world and trying to sell, I was probably less confident / unwilling to take risks than a more seasoned toy cutter.
