Mvc Apocalypse Custom Action Figure

The select Hulk is my favorite base to work on. It has so many potential. I got a lot of future ideas on this base.

This Apocalypse is based on the "Bowen Statue Apocalypse" and also heavily influenced by DboCustoms many excellent Apocalypse.

Anyway this Apocalypse took a lot of time to make. I experimented with a lot of materials. There is a great deal of sanding, dremeling, cutting and sculpting involved in making this figure.

The head is fully sculpted and so is parts of his hands, legs and body. I also used PVC plastic to make parts of his armor.
I used audio cables for his tube like cables on his elbows. And Finally I made him 2 interchangeable hands. One is a giant cannon and the other is a circular saw that actually works, when you pull its string :)

In the paint department I initially went for a more classic colors, like the bowen statue. But it wasn't working for this particular custom. It was lacking in personality I thought.

SO I went for a more video-game color scheme ((Marvel vs Capcom or X-Men vs Street Fighter) which I thought is more appropriate.
