Rachel Grey Custom Action Figure

Custom #:46346
Name:Rachel Grey
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:MikeMarvel
Date Added:January 22, 2013
Base Figure:Kitty Pryde
Height:6.00 inches
Completion Time:24.00 hours
This is Rachel Grey in her newest outfit seen in X-Men Legacy and Wolverine and the X-Men. Very punk rock if I do say so myself so needless to say this one was a lot of fun. I tried to reflect her darker look from the books and accentuate the dark shadows and contrast it with a bright shiny yellow. I also went as bulky as possible with the coat and armor and boots on her smaller frame without it looking ridiculous. So the recipe was Kitty Pryde as the base, Rachel's head and Psylocke hands. The rest is fodder mostly a spliced up Gambit coat and Sinister's cape. Everything else is sculpted and repainted. Enjoy!

This is awesome. All the stuff you put on to make that outfit works really great. Is that some leather in there? Great work. She looks fantastic.

I used and cut up one of those "leather" Gambit coats from the Marvel Legends line which is actually a vinyl material so fortunately it took the paint well.
