Hey, Realmers! Greetings from San Antonio! Next up is the original Ghost Rider from the wild West! The Phantom Rider. I started stripping down Fantomex with some Goof Off paint remover, swapping the head, forearms and lower legs with Toybiz Taskmaster. Modding some DCUC Jonah Hex boots to fit snugly and rotate. Hands are Toyboz f/o Punisher, cape is from a DCUC figure whose name escapes me, (green cape), I stripped that down as well and primered it with a white plastic primer (along with the horse etc). Matty WWE Shawn Michaels cowboy hat, Wonder Woman lasso, duffle bag from Ryu, the wrapped up blanket on the back of the horse is from a McFarlane figure from my buddy Brian Giusti, hip-mounted holsters from Hasbro SHIELD agents and matching pistols. The ol' flintlock pistol from DCUC Gentleman Ghost. I addedsome Aves Fix-It sculpt to fill in some of the muscle detail in the torso. Banshee the horse has the main removed (it was actual hair like My Lil' Pony lol) and the tail, then resculpted them. I used a cut Doc Ock tentacle for the base of the tail, then sculpted over it. The rolled blanket on the rear of the saddle is secured with a white elbow pin and some siper glue, not just glued on. The blanket is also has a hole dremmeled through so the shotgun can be tucked inside. The straps for the saddle are secured with a dremmeled hole and then a screw through the end of each strap to secure the saddle. I also added a lil super glue beneath the saddle to secure it a but more. I primered, hand-painted and drybrushed every item from the figures to the accessories, giving it a powder blue wash and bone white finish. Painted with Testors and Citadel paints, then sealed with Citadels Purity Seal. A lot of work went into this one and I hope you all can see and appreciate it. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my 1st major piece of work for 2013. More custom goodies on the way. Take care and God bless!
Great use of parts!!!
