Mantis Custom Action Figure

For the base body I used a DC Universe Classics Cheetah figure. Since Mantis was a little shorter than the other Avengers I cut a little out of the arms, legs, and stomach to bring down the figures height just slightly. I swapped out her left hand for a fist from a DC Universe Classics Dove. The head is a Marvel Legends Maria Hill head cast. The hair is partly Marvel Legends Psylocke’s, with lots of extra sculpting. Her antennae are just black twist ties. Those weird things coming off her costume in front of her shoulders are styrene. The skirt was cut from a cheap table cloth, and the belt is notebook vinyl with a styrene belt buckle. The rest of the costume details were sculpted.
