At the start of volume two of Runaways, Heroine, the leader of the Avengers in the future, comes to the present to give the Runaways a warning. After revealing herself to be Gertrude, she dies. They read her mind, witnessing a future where the X-Men and Avengers have both been wiped out by a single, powerful villain. Victorious. I don't know if he made any more than that single panel appearance in this form, but I loved the look. A simple black costume with a V that goes directly into his cape. So, I had to make it. But, to finish his backstory. They hunted down Victor Mancha, who later joined the team to prove himself. It was later revealed that he was an android created by Ultron, arguably the most powerful villain in the universe. Either way, it was a fantastic, yet simple look that I couldn't resist making.
