I stared by popping off Spider Woman’s head and then grinding down the neck so Soranik Natu’s head would fit in its place. I then sculpted the costume components onto the body using Aves Fixit sculpt. Next, I ground down one side of Natu’s hair to make the shaved part of Angel’s head, after which I painted her face. When that dried, I sculpted her hair. After several sculpting phases adding detail to her body, I stated the paint job, using citadel paints. I went for a gloss coat over her costume to give a shiny leather look, while doing a matte coat over the skin to protect the paint on the joints. I added the head and body together, and then drilled a hole for the flight stand. I added a few “outline” details into the paint job with black in an effort to recreate the cell shaded look of the game. The wings (made from blister pack) are attached to the flight stand so the figure only has them when flying.
She fits nicely into the FSP Fiesta theme as she guides your character through Borderlands, and Borderlands 2, and then has an awesome final scene. Which I will not spoil, but which totally made me think of her when I saw that any supporting character from an FPS could be used.
