I never loved Spider-Man's Stark Armor look, mostly due to the eyes and the lack of any blue in the costume. So, I repainted this figure to fix that. The paint app on the yellow was difficult for several reasons: I don't have the proper color red to touch up any mistakes that could have occurred. I tried using painters/masking tape near the spots where the original yellow and red met, but that didn't work and I ended up having to chip off misapplied blue with a toothpick. :( It also seemed like the paint didn't want to apply very nicely to the yellow (which may have been my imagination or may have actually been due to the 'sheen' that the original paints have). And lastly, the trio of arms on the back took a ton of coats because they have a zillion crevices AND the initial coats had a green tinge since it was blue over yellow. They eyes were the easiest bit. It wasn't a smooth go, but I think he turned out okay, all things considered.
