I used to say quite often that I wanted to get into making mostly DC customs. Marvel is tapped into a lot, but not a lot of guys make DC figures in this scale. A few do, and their creations are beautiful. But, I never quite bit like I had hoped. A couple here and there, but nothing major. That may change, though, as I've had quite a few DC requests as of late. So, starting what I hope becomes a lingering trend, I bring you Wildcat. I actually didn't know a lot about this guy either. I picked up the head by mistake and decided to go ahead and give him a shot. He's a heavyweight boxer who had a spell placed on him giving him nine lives. So, he's really hard to kill. Apparently, those lives regenerate too, so unless he's killed 9 times in quick succession, he's even harder to kill. I think what I liked most was that he's one of the experts that Batman hunted down when he was getting started to have train him. And, on top of that, he trained Catwoman and Black Canary too, among others. He also stands as a longtime member of the JSA. The figure was a simple design, and I used the same drybrush method on his arms to give him the bandage look that I did on Davos. I'm not sure I'm quite as satisfied with it, though. But, overall, I like how the figure came out.
