Stumbled across this image and decided to do some reading on the character. The Masked Marvel is essentially Marvel's own parody character. His debut mini even being him presented in the form of a pitch. Electro then shows up, complaining about his treatment in a recent issue, Adam Austin disappears, then reappears as the Masked Marvel and does away with the villain. A comic for the character is immediately commissioned, and subsequently appears at the back of an X-Men comic. He served as a gateway for Marvel writers to connect with their characters. Such as Reed Richards mailing gadgets to the Marvel Editors for upcoming comics. He was, however, introduced into the standard continuity during Civil War. He was acknowledged as one of the registered Superheroes, though the appearance serves as little more than a cameo. Making the figure was simple, save for slight differences between his costume color between appearances. So, I chose the red, and went with the light blue look for the "M"s on his hands. I think he came out well, maybe with a slightly darker look, and not quite as comedic as his actual comic.
