This is a Custom Dazzler, of The X-Men (and her own solo series) in her 70's duds that I made for a friend. It was one of my 1st customs, so some of the sculpting was still a little chunky, mainly on the forearms and wish I could fix it up, but oh wells. It was made using a Marvel Select Black Cat as the base figure. I cut off the furry fringe from her costume and sanded down those areas (though, as previously stated, not enough on the forearms). Cut and resculpted the arms so they were a little more outward and pointing out. Added her arm and wrist jewelry and sculpted her bells and collar with Green stuff (this was before I discovered apoxy). The skates really roll. They were sculpted and the wheels came from some tiny skateboards that were the happy meal toys at the time. Added glitter to her skates and wristbands. Made a little disco ball out of green stuff. Added glitter and a gold chain for it that came from the base figure. I think she had a large diamond on it originally. Painted her and finished her of with a combination of matte and gloss acrylic sealers. painted her Logo on the end of the stage. She was made to resemble the image in the side by side comparison photo. I may touch up her arms if I can borrow this from it's new owner and update these photos, but I don't want to post any photos here or on my own website with my mistakes edited out, only as-is. The person it was made for and I agreed that current figures of Dazzler were just not sexy enough to do the character Justice, so here she is, Shmexy as can be. Hope ya like!
I absolutely love the dynamic, flowing bottoms of the bell-bottom jumpsuit.
