Second figure for the day is for auction at ebay. We have here Prince Namor the Submariner in Olivetti-form! He claims to be "Ruler of Atlantis" like Aquaman, but I believe this guy more... Like he can rip Aquaman's arms off if he hears him saying that :D. He doesn't come with a trident but he has two "guns" :D. He was made from a Conan with Sabes arms, Guile fists, Orton legs and Ryu feet. None of these parts readily fit together, so all were modded to go in place. Sculping was done where needed and most went to the manly-scaly-green-speedos. Each scale was sculpted 3D. Then followed by a matte-metallic-combo-paintjob. The colors on the speedos and gold were painted using the same technique employed by today's top statue-makers (Bowen,PF etc). Really hope you like him guys! Agreed, that is an insanely awesome take on Namor, but the arms are a completely different/noticeable texture from the rest of the bod. I love how huge they are, though!

lolll Smiley your crazy brother these Olivetti style customs are so hard to perfect. They are supposta look oversized dude. Thats what makes it Olivetti style big and massive with a comic book feel. But if you go to far and to big it looks off. Its portioned out perfectly. Im defending it only because my entire collection is based off this style and I love it. Wish more customs were made like this. I value your opinion though brother, but please keep more of these Olivetti style customs coming Dave, I love them. Great idea, but not the best execution. Everything's spot on except for the arms. They don't match up with the rest of the figure at all. Other than that this is an amazing figure you got here. Good work

I gotta agree here. I love this figure and it's overall look and imposing nature, but the arms don't look right because a ) they stick out too much and need to have the shoulders sunk into the chest more and b ) the texture on them really makes them not match the rest of the body. It's not that they're just too big for the figure, I can get behind that as artictic license, but if they had been smoothed over some or is the paint was more flat on them and didn't bring out every litle nook and cranny in that texture it'd be better. I really love most aspects of this but the arms are a bit iffy.
