Obis Custom Statue / Bust

I came across this character concept and could not get it out of my head. I found it both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

Started with aluminum wire frame and built up the spine and shoulders first. Then worked my way down. I used Super Sculpey for the majority of the build and Aves Sculpt for minor areas.

The head started as a Smallville Clark Kent head cast. I dremeled the top half of the head away and sculpted the skull and hair.

I felt like everything came together well. There's very little I would change if I had to do it over again and it was a ton of fun watching this guy come to life over time.
