I came across this character concept and could not get it out of my head. I found it both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

Started with aluminum wire frame and built up the spine and shoulders first. Then worked my way down. I used Super Sculpey for the majority of the build and Aves Sculpt for minor areas.

The head started as a Smallville Clark Kent head cast. I dremeled the top half of the head away and sculpted the skull and hair.

I felt like everything came together well. There's very little I would change if I had to do it over again and it was a ton of fun watching this guy come to life over time.

Original concept was designed by the super talented Fydbac, AKA Janai Jeffries.

Well, it seems that many Realmers knew this would win from the get-go! And as an art enthusiast myself, I've always admired artwork that goes beyond the conventional. I believe really good art isn't just good to look at, but it makes a person feel, makes them think. This sculpture you created feels alive to me - almost reminds me of something out of Ghibli studio, and looking at it, I see it possesses magic. Truly a museum piece, congrats on the win G Brand! FK YEAH!!!
