Ahh, Artemis, Wonder Woman's occasional rival, occasional BFF. Upon seeing jeddthejedi's repaint of a Mad Max Road Warrior (FID=29226), I wondered if I could make it look slightly more distinctly "Artemis", so I decided to repaint her following the colour palette of her appearance in "Requiem", as seen in Chalana87's Artemis custom (i.e. FID=38467). Just take note that this is a revisualisation and not any serious attempt at replicating the costume.
The figure had fallen into rather sorry shape since 2011, so the skin tones and hair needed to be repainted (thank jeddthejedi for the latter.) The sweater and calf-high socks were repainted with a mix of (mostly) white and metallic gold, and the boots and bracers were done a deep green, as was the headband, which was done with a permanent marker. The chestpiece was painted metallic gold and matte green by jeddthejedi. I decided to give her green boy shorts in lieu of the thong the figure previously had, comic book clothing standards be damned.
The spear came from jeddthejedi's spare parts box, specifically from a Pandora which he had converted to Talia (see FID=46976), which you should all check out even if it looks a little blank-stared. Many many thanks to jeddthejedi for all the help as well as letting me hold on to this figure once all was said and done. =)
