Introducing the next in my 'line' of Batman Rogues' Gallery:
Dr. Jonathan Crane, aka: THE SCARECROW!!
I started this a few months back, as a result of a poll of what new non-commission figure I should make next on my FB page. In between a ton of commissions, I finally got it done, and here he is!
While I work on these Batman characters,I'm trying to take these well known villains and put my own special spin on them while keeping true to their basic traits. I really wanted a SCARY Scarecrow, that looked like an actual Scarecrow might. No fancy gas masks, no syringe fingers; just a beat up, nasty looking pile of thrift store clothing stitched together just the right way to scare the bejeezus out of anyone.
I also gave him a patched up top hat. I know, not the traditional pointy hat you usually see on him, but I gave him some straw and an autumn leaf sticking out of one side, with a nice big patch on the other to really give it a 'Scarecrow' kind of look. Arms are also modded to come off for ease in removing the jacket.
Recipe as follows:
Made from a DCUC Amon Sur body, Deadman head & limbs
Sculpted feet, stitches, head and over-all detail
Collar/scarf from a Final Fantasy skeleton
Hand-sickle from a DC direct Circe figure -**stored at his hip on a small belt loop I fashioned out of fodder.**
Jacket/trench coat from fodder
Arms pop off to make it easier to switch out the trench coat.
**Special thanks to Karak Nul Customs for the DC Direct Nekron Scythe cast!! Sorry I sculpted a pumpkin over it!! Lol***
**Added a couple more pics- The last one shows Scarecrow with all his accessories, including the small hand scythe he comes with sheathed at his hip.
Thanks for looking! Check out some of my other customs on my Heroes Assembled Facebook page!
