I picked up a set of the Iron Man 3 Legends figures, and I really like em all. This guy kinda let me down because I was hoping for metallic reds to go with the gold, but instead the red was just a molded plastic with a lot of metallic swirls in it. On top of that, the reds on the gloves/boots were way different tones than the red on the torso. Seems to be the case in general, so I repainted the reds on this guy to match the garishly yellow 2-pack releases. I pictured all 3 together, but I like the new finish a lot better. The gold is great on the new one, and when I tried to paint a 2-pack one gold the paint was just shredding at every joint so the new one's a godsend even if I didn't like the red. And I repainted a Tony Stark head for this too.

Oh man this is great, I too am disappointed about the hands and feet. Gonna change mine up when I get the chance. My goodness where did that head come from though? I literally just started collecting and I could really use a head like that.

Looks phenomenal, and the head came out amazing. I was hoping to see pics of this Iron Man next to the Extremis and Neo-Classic armors, but since you didn't take pics of them together I'll just ask, does the retail version look good next to those figures?

The paint job is immaculate - as always. But a customizer of your calibre might also consider tackling minor details such as sanding down those unsightly seams on his bicep, eliminating the embossed lettering on his inner left thigh, and perhaps for the WOW factor, adding an extra set of hands with repulsor beams at full blast. Your work is exceptional, these are just a few small tweaks that definitely wouldn't go unnoticed and I think helps evolve the action figure towards the statue quality. Please take with a grain of salt, as this is just fan feedback
