I have been so busy/lazy the last two or three weeks that I havent cranked out as many customs as I would have liked but I finally finished AMC THE WALKING DEAD Deputy RICK GRIMES and DARYL DIXON. I will post Daryl as soon as I finish his photos. Thank you guys for the preorders if you are on the Realm for making, making them possible. They are all shipping this week with Daryl and Shane. Thanks again for your patience.

I altered three heads for him although the photos are only of one of the heads. Didnt finish painting the others with a closed mouth and longer hair in time for photos. I went with this head because he has more of that fighting intensity one would think you would have if you were fighting zombies. I am probably going to go back and do a resculpt on the stars as I originally wanted them smaller especially on the hat but I just wanted to get this one off the to do list for now.

He was primed, painted, color-washed and sealed meticulously to have a thin seemless coat on him. All his joints were dremeled and treated to minimize paint rub. I tried to give him both a clean and dirty look hence the dusty look on his boots and unshaven look, and tried to capture as much detail as I could reviewing the first season, comics and images of him online from the stripe on his legs, deputy style pants, shirt, belt, cuff pouch on the back with gun and holster etc. Some detailed were altered slightly. Hat is removable and he measures about 6.5 inches tall.

His neck is ball jointed as is his head so they can be posed in virtually any position. Shoulders move in virtually any position and arms swivel and elbows bend in both directions. His waist can rotate 360 degrees and his legs can adopt virtually any position since they swivel and knees bend and hips go in all directions. His boots can be adjusted but not by much.

I like the sculpts on those mcfarlane figures but they are more like 4 barely 5 inch figures which are way too small for my tastes.
I wanted a 6 to 7 inch 1:12th Scale size figure to work with other DCU and MARVEL LEGENDS figures in my collection.

Deputy Rick Grimes (my zombie killing hero) ready to kick some WALKERS #$%@!!!!

You did a really great job on Rick, he looks perfect. The Aragorn head actually works surprisingly well! I can't wait to see more survivors.

Also, any updates on your website? I can't wait for it.
