It's me! lol! Hey! So this is sort of a repaint but with some sculpt mods from the 1st time I posted this Mario recipe (Fire Flower Mario). I saw the TRU Mario figure that was more like a statue (only the arms swung back n forth). I sized it up to the Matty Hornswaggle figure and sculpted his belly, pant cuffs/ seams, under the arms, inside the head with a pin for head articulation. The paint job was a bit of a task to get it just right. I also added an old Mario Kart vehicle to him from like roughly 15 yrs ago. Thanks for stopping by, hope you all dig and God Bless!

Wow this mario is freaking sweet! You did an an awesome job here!
I also have to say thanks to introducing me to the hornswaggle figure! I want one for so many ideas, and it sucks they cost so much online, because I can't find them anywhere around here to buy retail. Great base figure!

Using hornswaggle was an inspired choice!

Jazwares has the liscence for Nintendo action figures now. They are doing Mario, Zelda, Samus, and pretty much the whole line.

now if only Nintendo would do something like this, I think they made a well articulated Mario in the late 90s or something but never re-released it.

Man, that is a brilliant idea and an excellent use for Hornswoggle! Any reason you didn't articulate the arms, though?

I wanted to but not sure how to approach them. Woulda been nice to do more articulation.
