Ghost Bride based on Constance Hatchaway from Disney's Haunted Mansion ride.
Made from an old Galadriel figure. I removed the hair, the long plastic sleeves, skirt and her legs, I then resculped using super sculpey her sleeves so that they are puffy above her elbow and fitted below, retaining the artiulation in the shoulder and elbow in the process. I sculpted some small flowers onto her neckline and sculpted her hair into a center parting with a low bun at the back and filled in the holes where her legs were. I repainted the whole figure in a shimmering pearly white with silver and icy blue highlights and made her eyes an eerie yellow with dark purple shadows beneath. Her dress and veil are made of netting and sheer gauze, painted to blend in with the figure and are non-removeable. Then the whole figure got a light coat of glow in the dark paint before being varnished (unfortunately it is rather difficult to get a pic of her glowing in the dark). The bouquet is made out of miniature wedding decoration roses and lace.
Her base/stand is a mintature chest with wire support to hold her to appear hovering above the floor.
The "Attic" room she is displayed in is actually a shelf on my bookcase which I have decorated using various miniature props I've made and pieces from dolls houses and bits from old play sets, making various nods to the ride. I've also photographed her under a blue light to create a more ghostly effect.
