Hey there my friends!!

So today is some more Injustice. First off, Insurgency Batman. I love the way this guy looks in the game, armored up with lots of non-smooth fitting, almost piece-meal gear, and looking beat to heck. Very cool concept of the darker world's Dark Knight. Knew I had to tackle him.

So first I chopped off the plastic cape--if you know me by now, that's just not gonna stay!-LOL! Next I had to sculpt his chest armor and then sculpted that bat symbol on top of that. The armor isn't seemless, it's more like plates that are matched. More like samurai plate armor than an anime style. I also sculpted his bicep and leg plates, boot and knee armor, and his guantlets. I took off the head and cowl and put the cloth covered cape in there, anchoring it under the cowl.

The shoulder pads are the same method as my Comedian. I used a Movie Master's DK Batman. I used a strip of pleather, attached it to the shoulder, and then one under the pad--it allows for the pad to be in place but doesn't inhibit the shoulder joint in any way because it has some give. A bit of sculpt over the strap on the shoulder, placed under the cowl and it's pretty well hidden.

Comments/critiques welcome, and thanks for looking!!

I thought this was cooler, too. Not sure what Mattel was thinking with that figure-sculpt is alright but just giving up articulation that they already have? Nonsense. By the way--are you a T.I.?
CAb00se - Wednesday, May 1, 2013
currently im a shirt, but I was a T.I. for 6 years.
