A fun custom I've been wanting to do for a while...I present Green Lantern E.T.

Just a repaint with 3 water-slide decals and a sculpted ring topped with a Swarovski crystal. I tried to incorporate the green Lantern glow within his glowing heart. I also painted his eyes green and touched up his face, hands and feet.

I've included a pic of GL E.T. with Hal Jordan and Ole Jade Jaw's AMAZING Green Lantern Teal'c that I'm so happy and honored to own.

Recruited to the GL Corps on 4/24/13.
Thanks for watching, Realmers.
I hope you like him.

Congrats N.C.! Looking at it, I think we tied because numbers like that are too close. As far as I'm concerned you and me are sharing the podium for the silver, and its an honour to do so.
As for your E.T. the paints are stellar! I love how well the tones worked out in the "suit" part, and the decal came off mint. Great work!

Thanks, pulpy! I'm humbled by your words, brother. I LOVE Yoda, always have. He was one of the main reasons I would watch 'Empire Strikes Back' over and over again.
What you've created is a wonderful labor of love & a true MASTERPIECE. I'm very happy and honored to be in 3rd place, following both customiza's and your masterworks.

Very cool! I'd love to see you take a crack at the same custom as a blue lantern to!!! Could you also please tell me a bit more about the decal process and where you purchase them?
NeCrollector - Wednesday, May 8, 2013
Thanks, pock63! Funny you mentioned a Blue Lantern E.T.! I was very close to making this one a BL, but opted for a Green Lantern instead. Perhaps in the future.
I purchased the water-slide decal paper (both clear and white) on eBay a while back. I went online and downloaded a bunch of different Lantern logos and printed them out on these decal papers. There are online tutorials that I had initially referred to on how to properly prepare the water-slide decal paper after you've printed on them and how to apply them. If you'd like more info, feel free to IM me, my friend. I'll be happy to assist.

This is awesome. I love it. You did a great job with the costume part and incorporating the heart glow. My only harsh remark would be if that is a vintage E.T. figure he might have been worth some money.
NeCrollector - Wednesday, May 8, 2013
Hi saber! Always good to hear for you. Thank you for your awesome feedback.
Fortunately, this is not a vintage E.T. I know which ones you're referring to. These are the new NECA E.T. figures which are currently available at retail.

A relatively simple, but very effective, reimaging of everyone's favorite extra-terrestrial. He looks pretty swank in GL duds!

By the by, did you know that several of E.T.'s species can be seen, VERY briefly, in a Senate scene, in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace? From that standpoint, a Green Lantern E.T. doesn't seem too far-fetched to me.
NeCrollector - Wednesday, May 8, 2013
Always an honor to hear from you, Patraw...thank you so much!
I know exactly of these E.T.'s! I remember flipping out when I first saw them in The Phantom Menace. In some wiki pages, one of them is referred to as Senator Greblieps (Speilberg spelled backwards).
It'd be cool to see a Jedi E.T.! Hmmmmmmmm......
Frenchtouch - Thursday, May 2, 2013
Your paint job is wonderful !
NeCrollector - Wednesday, May 8, 2013
Thanks for the kind words, my friend.
JeddTheJedi - Wednesday, May 1, 2013
Such a brilliant idea and a really cool paint job. I love how ticked off the Guardian looks in that one pic where ET's touching his head.
NeCrollector - Wednesday, May 8, 2013
Thanks Jedd! Yeah, I try to have some fun with the pics whenever possible. I thought it'd be a cool & funny homage to the movie to have E.T. touch the Guardian's forehead.
