Posting another of my Marvel Legends X-Men repaints. This time we have Storm from the ToyBiz ML line. I LOVE this figure, but it just needed a little pop. The gold on her uniform was almost non existent and some of the blue airbrushing over the black was a bit much. First, I painted her boots a gloss black so they looked like a different material than her clothes. Then I went over the gold with the same yellow I've been using on all of my X-Men so she looked a little more comicbook like. Gave her a belt, and added yellow trim to her shoulder pads and cape, as well as silver on her boot buckles, and a more vibrant red on her Xs. I also repainted her hair, as there was some light blue in the original. I covered the whole hair piece in a light grey, then gently wiped clean before drybrushing with white. Lastly, I redid her eyes with a brighter white and some black eyeliner to pop. For the accessories I just used some Star Wars lightening pieces, and a little fun on my art app.
Thanks for looking, and always enjoy the feedback!

Much better with the touch ups. I like that pick where she is controlling the weather.

Got a question, mate. What custom paint brand did you use for painting yellow on the cape? I tried doing it before but unfortunately, it just simply chipped off. The rubber doesn't seem to allow the paint to stay on.

I used FolkArt Enamels... It's "schoolbus yellow". Just use a good soft brush and I did 2 very light coats- she seems completely fine.

OUTSTANDING repaint! Sometimes all the figure needs is some TLC...and clear coat.
