This is basically a repainted version of the marvel legends Iron Man of series I. I painted the figure silver and topcoated it with clear yellow and red for the deep metallic shine of shell head's armor.

Heh, I knew you used the clear paints, you're right though, airbrushing is better to use with that technique because you get a little sloppy if you use normal brushes.

I used CITADEL mithril silver for the base silver paint, then used TAMIYA's clear yellow and clear red to top off the silver. Paints were airbrushed for a smooth even finish.

What kind of paints did you get to do this? I want to try this with my red and silver cent. Iron Man. your Irom man armor is the best.

Hey Louies... Iron Man looks great! I like the shiny armor better then the flat colors on the original Marvel Legends figure. It makes it look a lot more like he's actually wearing armor.
