I've wanted a decent Lady Shiva figure for awhile--the classic style, not the armored N52 version. So knowing I had a few female parts in my fodder box I found some pieces i could use. At first I was going to use a ML Hope Summers as a base but didn't want to just have another female character in tights. So I got the idea to use the JLA Black Canary. I painted her torso, boots, legs separately and hot glued them back together. I originally wanted to use the Identity Crisis BC's boots but that made her super tall and I didn't want to go through the effort of cutting down the boots, trying to fit them onto the legs, etc. So i settled for the original JLA BC boots even though I hate her high heels.

Originally I tried to use the Hope Summers head but I couldn't make her look exotic enough and didn't want to just cover the face in paint and risk messing it up. So I cut down the neck of the figure a bit and hot glued a DCD Donna Troy/Wonder Girl head and really liked how she came out. The sword is from the fodder bin.

I agree, there should be more Shiva customs out there. Maybe she doesn't have that one definitive look, I guess. Nicely done.

Really nice, there ought to be more customs of Shiva here! Maybe she needs an extra coat on her leggings, but this is a great custom of her!
