Right here is my Modern era Man of War from Malibu Comics. I decided I wanted to give him a mordern look compared to what he looked like in the comics( see reference picture ). For anyone that doesn't know this character, he was part of the short lived Malibu comics line. He was a member of the Protectors which ran a span of 23 issues and he also had his own comic which ran for 8 issues. I tried to find some info on this character but really counld'nt find anything. What I do know is that he gained his powers from the plant Mars the God of War. He is made from a Sentinel Series Cyc with the lower legs of Task Master, and the head from IronFist. The shoulder pads, and straps I sculpted using Aves. The pouches on the belt are from Task Masters belt and the pouch on his right leg is from a 3.75in figure. I really just made this figure to give rid of some extra fodder that I'v had just laying around for a good while,and also get a bit of practice sculpting. I beleave however that when I finally decide to re-stock my fodder that I'll revist this character and do him more justice.
