Base Figure:Optimus Prime (TFP)

Took an Optimus Prime, and after some effort, decided that since all it does is sit on my shelf, I opted to make him look how I wanted him to look, and forgo his transformation. Cut off all small pegs and such that held him in truck mode. I am particularly pleased that the Beast Hunters Optimus head dremeled down how it did, I feel it truly looks like how he would have if he'd been in TFP. The compartment inside his chest that the Matrix sets in was actually there behind the thick truck windows, and when I removed them to decide how to make his chest, I instantly knew that a Matrix must be included, so I put a (hollowed out) Animated Megs chest on a hinge and BAM! Filled in the lower legs with Gundam pieces.

"Arise, Rodimus Prime!"

Sorry..

Recipe:
Body - Optimus Prime (TFP)
Head - Optimus Prime (TFBH)
Arm cannons - Bumblebee (TFP) / Starscream (TFFoC)
Chest - TFA Megatron
"Wings" - Hot Rod (Classics)
Matrix - Fodder parts
Blaster - Gundam and fodder pieces

Used Gundam fodder parts for body fillers as well.

This is one of my favorite customs to date, so I hope you all like this!

Sooo faithful to the TF animated movie... Awesome! Colors are very bright and clean. Also love how you included the Matrix of Leadership.

Thanks! The matrix is kinda crude, I realise, but it works for the cartoon-styling of TFP (for me at least)

Transformation?

I could tell you to look up "forgo" then reread my description. Instead I'll say that I can make a better looking figure if I ignore the need for transformation, which since it just sits on my shelf and the robot mode is the form I like to showcase, there is, for me, no need.

you applied too much paint. Use adequate amounts next time

No offense, but I could say the same for your Predaking's lower legs, which leads me to think you should be aware of the difficulty of hand painting polypropylene with acrylic paints using a coarse brush. Especially yellow on top of anything. But hey, I'm always accepting of the criticism from those who obviously have more skill and experience than I, which is most shown in your painting of that highly difficult Project Hornet head swap you did. Thanks!
