My favourite superhero is Batman, my favourite video games are the Arkham games, so this was really a no brainer! The question is why I didn't do it earlier.

Base Body is the DC Direct Arkham Asylum variant that came out with one of the Arkham City waves titled as the Detective Mode version, for some reason.

I sliced the figure at the elbow, wrist, waist, knees and ankles (phew!). I then dremeled and inserted Figma and revoltech joints into all articulation points apart from his hips and Knees. I got the hips from a wrestler figure (excellent range of motion) and the double jointed knees came from a ML Moon Knight.

Finished him off with a new paint job on his face (which was originally a jaundice yellow, thanks for that DC Direct!) and some touch up areas where I had hollowed the joint areas out. The lower Moon Knight legs were also matched up with the rest of his suit.

He was expensive and difficult to make, (the joints and base figure cost a ton!), but I don't care because, quite frankly Having this sculpt with super posability is pretty darn cool!

So smart using revoltech joints. Amazing job. It's amazing that most batman figures are not articulated like this because he is one of the best fighters in the dc universe yet you can never pose him fighting

Thanks! Yeah, it bugs me how limited the average Batman figure is when it comes to articulation. Best 'official' one I own when it comes to poseability is the Mafex one.

Thanks so much! I tried not to alter the look of the figure because it was so nice looking, I just wanted posability! Thanks again!

You did a great job working the new joints seamlessly into the figure. Nicely done!

Expensive, maybe, but I place a LOT of value in work like this, taking a beautiful figure and making is awesome by adding in articulation, and you did it really well. Looks great and I bet it's a ton of fun more.

I'm not going to lie, though I'm 28 Years old I've actually found myself posing him and doing his voice like I was a kid playing, that's how much fun it's made him!!! And I feel no shame!
