Hi everyone.. God of War Kratos currently rule the adventure gaming scene but long before Kratos, there was a Legendary Greek/Roman Warrior that ruled the arcade & Nes home system...His name is Rygar.Back in 1986 tecmo released this insanely hard action scroller in the arcades. In the following year Rygar came to the nes in a adventure style game, very different from thr arcade version.Rygar fought his foes with his diskarmor in which he propel at upcoming enemies. Here the 5 figures recipe I used to make Rygar..First I used ML Namor torso, attached ML Hyperion arms. Then I combined ML Capt America legs & connected ML Xorn calves and feet because I like his ankle rocker. For Rygar head I used DCUC Blue Superman, bottom half of his hair is from DC direct Aquaman. Then installed a toe ring for his crown & sculpted top half of his hair.Sculpted wrists & ankle armor, belt, gems are from fodder bin and finally his diskarmor is from capt america. In the future I may do another diskarmor with blades.
Please check out Rygar mentor Guru custom who help and guides Rygar thru his adventure in my next post
hope you like
thanks for watching

Rygar for PS2 is one of my favorite games ever (much better than God of War in my opinion), so I'm happy to see someone make a custom of him, even if it the classic version. Great job!

I haven't played the NES version much, so maybe I'm wrong, but shouldn't his Diskarmor have a chain attached to it?
VicVeinz - Saturday, September 14, 2013
Thank you Patraw .PS2 Rygar was a very underrated game. Yes Rygar has a chain & blades come out on his shield when he throw it at enemies, but I didn't have the supplies to do it like ironwire to connect the chain with or another Capt shield.Mb in the future I do a update of a alternate extended shield.
