Mr. Freeze Custom Action Figure

Custom #:53625
Name:Mr. Freeze
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:DC Universe
Creator:Banner/HULK Inc.
Date Added:September 14, 2013
Base Figure:Crysis 2 Nanosuit
Height:7.00 inches
“Revenge is a dish best served cold.”

The most cold-hearted character in Gotham City is the vengeful villain Mr. Freeze.

I combined light blue and silver colors to make the conversion from Crysis suit to Cryo-suit. The Crysis Nanosuit figure is a favorite of mine because of its design and articulation.

His freeze gun was made from: Sigma 6 Shipwreck’s gun parts with two liquid container tanks, 12 inch Apocalypse’s right arm tube, Playmates Tomb Raider’s big black gun, and MOTU Icer’s staff for the freeze ray.

The head came from a Fisher Price HeroWorld Mr. Freeze toy. Yes, it’s a Fisher Price not the Mattel figure. I really liked how the head looked completely different from Mattel’s. Which gave me the idea to put it on a better base body for a new version of his Cryogenic suit.

Thanks to all for checking it out and voting on the Gotham City II contest.

Hey Banner, I just wanted to say that this is one GNARLY looking Mr. Freeze bro. I love how you put this together, this would look really awesome in my collection next to my Bane. Keep up the great work brother.

Thanks for your compliments PackRatStudios. You know that all your amazing customs: Omega Red, Shredder, Silver Samurai, Predator Terminator Hunter, were all creations from the nanosuit that inspired me to try this.

Cool take! No pun intended.

Thanks massprime for the cool comment.
Bakegirl - Monday, September 23, 2013
haha I think the real pun is in the fact that you used a muscular type body for base, and the movie Mr. Freeze was played by muscularly typed fellow Arnie Scwarzy. Diggity Not sure if you'd call something like that a pun, diggity, but this version of Freeze has already seared into my brain snapes. It'll be hard to beat from hence forth.

Thank you Bakegirl, yes it's a muscular suit, so I think that there's actually a smaller Victor Fries body within the suit, or that's how I envisioned it. But yes, it is a bit reminiscent of Arnie's big suit.

Awesome use of this body! Never thought of Mr. Freeze with a "techno-organic" suit like this but heck it looks great and imposing. Nice job!
