In the midst of Gotham's copycat vigilante flair up, one imitator stood out in the Dark Knight's eyes. Barbara Gordon had not only a profound sense of justice, but a quick wit and keen detective skills, undoubtedly inherited from her father. Eventually, Bruce Wayne took Barbara under his wing, so to speak, even convincing Lucius Fox to create a kevlar suit tailored to her form.
For this custom, I used a Rise of the Silver Surfer Sue Storm painted completely black. I added a belt, cape, and shoulder pads from a Dark Knight Batman. The gauntlets are from a Batman Begins figure. The bat emblem was cut from a Bruce Wayne to Batman rubber costume slip and painted gold. For the head, I finally found a use for the Batman and Robin Batgirl figure. (You know, the one wearing the cowl that she NEVER wore in the film.) I have no idea what figure the hair came from, but my good friend, John, over at Mint Condition Custom (formerly Crimson Vampyre on here) was nice enough to let me sift through his fodder bin. It's a little rough, but I like the look of it.
