Triceraton - Heroic Dinosaur Warrior Custom Action Figure

Custom #:54726
Name:Triceraton - Heroic Dinosaur Warrior
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Masters of the Universe
Creator:Xysma Warhorse
Date Added:October 15, 2013
Base Figure:Clawful
Height:8.00 inches
Next up in my Masters of the Universe series is Triceraton - Heroic Dinosaur Warrior! I had a clawful with no lower legs, and only one arm, so I took the legs off another fodder figure and the arms from Hordak, combined with a head and tail from a triceratops toy and hair from Skaar, sculpted to match the hair up to the head, and added a little piece of hair on top from a Marvel Zombie figure. I made this one for you NeCrollector, so make room for him!

Hey Realm brothers and sisters This Prehistoric Badass arrived earlier this week via a time portal and I want to say how PHRACKING PHENOMENAL it is!!!!! Our man, Xysma, is one-of-a-kind and has some serious MAD SKILLZ! Xysma, once again, you've made this hobby all the more funner for me. THANK YOU SO COSMICALLY MUCH, bro! Triceraton looks CRAZY BEAUTIFUL in person....definitely a crown jewel in my MOTUC collection!

This is probably one of Xysma's best figures, so I know you're happy! Enjoy!

Is this a TMNT crossover or just a character with the same name as the species?
NeCrollector - Thursday, October 17, 2013
Either way you've just made this custom a million times cooler! A MOTUC custom that can ALSO be displayed with TMNT figures?!?!...HECK YEAH!!!! Being that the Triceratons are an anthropomorphic alien race in the TMNT universe, it's cool to imagine one going rogue, ending up in Eternia and becoming heroic....LOVE IT! It's awesome to know that this masterpiece also has the potential of being a TMNT character!

I guess it could work either way. BUT..... I've never heard of the Triceratons from TMNT, it was just a coincidence, I thought I made the name up

Brilliant how you used the natural joint transition on the upper arms as the endpoints for the armored area instead of forcing lines onto one of the pieces, looks so natural! Great figure all around too of course, striking.
Xysma Warhorse - Saturday, October 19, 2013
Thanks bazinc! That's one of the joys of making original characters, you can put those transitions wherever you want!

I am blown away by this MASTERPIECE! What an awesome concept! I don't think I've ever seen a MOTU concept dino I am so loving this Jurassic jewel!!! So EXQUISITELY crafted, bro!
THANK YOU SO MUCH, XYSMA! I am moved and honored, dude!

I am so glad you like him brother! I promise I'll get him in the mail soon, I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger.

Okay this look frickin nice and that's because it all ties together. Those parts make sense!
I feel like the majority of factory MOTUC characters are just haplessly slapped together with little thought of tying their design elements together and yet, they could look this good and usually don't.
That looks excellent.
Xysma Warhorse - Saturday, October 19, 2013
Thanks phineas curmudgeon, I always try to work everything out in my head before I start working, it gives me a cohesive vision of what I am trying to accomplish, of course sometimes I go off the rails, but it usually works out.
