Here's a question sports fans... How is it that Superman's suit coincidentally is hanging in the closet of a spaceship that landed and burrowed 18,000 years before he arrived? Even if it was never intended to be his... it had to be someone of the House of El... Could this have been his dad's old crash pad back in his bachelor days? Who knows.

So came Jor El as an Earth scout. In keeping with Jor El's deeper colors from the Codex Theft scene I blackwashed the boots and emblem to darken them to fit with the deeper maroon of his cape. He also features the new wired fabric cape as is the new norm for these guys. With a little wiping and whittling of the beard, we have a newer younger Russel Crowe as Jor El ready to hit the town and tug on some earth leg.

Yeah. Did that ever go to print? I thought it was digital only. Can't find it anywhere. Been wanting to check that out.

Awesome custom, man! Love the muted colors to keep Jor El's look but hint at Kal's! Heads up--been steering folks emailing me on wired capes to your wired cape tutorial on youtube; yours is pretty good. You and I regularly do these wired capes and I like that we have different techniques for it. I don't use the dremel or cut into the figure at all, but I may try your method to see if I CAN do it, LOL! When I get a video camera I'll post my method ask you to review. SUPERMAN RULES!

Back in his bachelor days, Jor-el was a "hip" young man in his mid twenties. His nickname in town was Jor"on the floor"el. He had a hang-out with heart shaped pillows and lava lamps. His girl friend was the high school prom queen: Faora, the most "smokin" girl in town. Jor-els' roommate was this dweeb the crazy cats in the neighborhood nicknamed:"Zod the Odd". Zod was a lonely teen who wasn't allowed to date because his mother always told him-"The only woman you need in your life is your mumsy". Zod was thin and had long greasy hair...with bad face acne. One day Jor-el caught Faora smoochin with his brother, ending their relationship and Zod moved out of their crib, swearing that one day he would get back at Jor-el for all the times he put him down. This ended Jor-els friendship with Zod.

Wow man. That is possibly the longest most awesome pick up comment in my entire history on here.

I should have let you write the description.
