Deep in the jungles of Africa, nothing is more feared than the demon Puexoru the Endless, also known as The Child Eater and The Jungle Demon. Ancient when man was young, Puexoru has stalked the shadows and minds of humans since the dawn of man. Some of the oldest existing cave paintings were discoverd in Namibia, several of which depict a large winged apelike creature. The historical accounts of many cases of demonic possession throughout the ages have referenced the name Puexoru. The most recent case occurred in 2003, when a young woman in Portland, OR was reportedly "possessed" by a demon. The Portland PD received a 911 call from a terrified woman who claimed that her daughter was trying to kill her, the call ended abruptly, and when the authorities arrived on the scene, they found a 23 year old Patricia Segal sitting on the ground among the mutilated bodies of her family muttering the word Puexoru. Police were baffled by the scene, the petite woman had apparently ripped apart her two brothers, who were both athletes much larger than their sister. She then mutilated her father and her mother, apparently with her bare hands and teeth. She had then drawn on the walls in her family's blood, pictures of a winged apelike creature unknown to science, but recognized by one local archaeologist as a nearly identical match to the Namibia cave paintings.
I was excited about this contest, I've always wanted to create my own demon character and this gave me a good excuse to do it. I used Gorilla Grodd for the base, removed his sideburns and sanded the hair from his cheeks. I added horns from a McFarlane Zeus figure, wings from an unknown source, lower arms from Bi-Beast, and tentacle creatures from a Movie Masters Parrallax. This beast is 9" at his highest point with a 12" wingspan.
