Another one ticked off for "The collection" this time it's the Andreenian master of the universe, Buzz-Off or Tzzzzzt zzz zzTTTzz to give him his real name. This is another that was started way back in the annals of time and has just been rescued from the graveyard. His legs gave a unique challenge being so slim but i think i managed to pull it off, anyhoo, here's his recipe.

Head = 200x Buzz-Off Dremmel to fit.

Torso = DCUC firestorm, sanded down and completely resculpted.

Upper arms and shoulders = DCUC Cyclotron, sandedown and resculpted.

Lower arms = 200x Buzz-Off, modded to fit the DCUC joint.

Belt = 200x Buzz-Off, sanded to fit DCUC crotch piece, sculpt to blend.

Crotch and part of upper leg= DCUC Firestorm.

Upper legs = 200x Buzz-Off, hollowed out and fitted onto Firestorm upper legs, sculpt to blend.

Knee joint = Starwars Saesee Tiin, sanded to fit.

Lower legs = 200x Buzz-Off, hollowed to fit, sculpt to blend.

Ankle joints = MU Wolverine arms, sanded to fit.

Feet = 200x Buzz-Off, hollowed and sculpt to blend.

Wing assembly = parts of 200x Buzz-Off and tons of sculpting.

Wings = 200x Buzz-Off.

Axe = 200x Buzz-Off.

Head piece = or visor 200x Buzz-Off.

Painted and sealed with Games workshop and Vallejo products.

Be sure to check out my WIP thread in the forums by clicking the promotional link if you fancy seeing some of the work that went into this guy.

Also had a bit of a time figuring out the wings but like every custom, it's always a learning experience. Hope you enjoy Buzz-Off and thanks for taking the time to have a glance, back with more of the collection soon. Till next time...............

DT I love all the motu stuff you've unleashed, but something about this buzzoff just rocks the crew! He worked out bloody amazing!
It's really cool seeing the group too, I love that there are so many awesome pieces of work there, and seeing suprasizeme's snake armour HM is wicked!

Hey, it's always great to be seen as an inspiration, just keep practicing man, I've seen some of your work and they're pretty good too. I still feel like I'm learning and if I ever felt I nothing left to learn I'd definitely give up the hobby.
eagle's customs - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
wow that is awesome. I was contemplating doing something like that but just didn't have the spark. You have a great ability for articulating these motu figures. I think your work is amazing.
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Thanks man, I reckon you should just go for it, I had no idea when I first started on this motu journey I still don't
Jarred706 - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
Seriously, the 200x Buzz-Off is hand down the coolest looking version, and seeing him articulated is fantastic.
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Agreed he's far superior to Filmation Buzz-Off, glad you dig my efforts bud

Now this is the BUZZ-OFF I was waiting from MOTU Classics. Another MOTU MASTERPIECE Bro and I can't wait to see who's next!!!
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Well there seems to be more and more 200x characters appearing in the MOTUC line so maybe they'll do these versions eventually. I'm not sure who will be next, I was trying to empty the graveyard (Teela, King hsss and Snoutspout) but I can't help starting new ones
ringomendoza - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
I´m not even a MOTU fan, but I´m a fan of this!
Man the amount of work you put here is insane, but well worth it. The outcome is impressive...
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
It's always good when you impress those that aren't fans, I always feel my work is worthwhile when I get to add another to "the collection".
whiskeyagogo - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
Amazing. Never thought I'd see Buzz-Off look so bad ass!
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Well I'm happy you think he looks bad ass and he doesn't even have his own sting.
Emmett - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
WOW! Great use of parts!
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Thanks, I really struggled with the leg joints, so glad I had two sets to experiment on.
Super Darth Castro - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
This Is Great man! It Looks Really Awesome! I was going to make a bee's Knees Joke but I see someone beat me to it lol
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Haha, thanks dude, unlucky on not quite getting the joke in
Patraw - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
Outstanding Buzz-Off custom! I could never stand his voice on the original cartoon, but, as a character design, he's definitely the bee's knees!
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Hahahha, yeah he wasn't my favorite in the original cartoon. He's pretty cool in 200x though, he has a big rivalry with Stratos and I think Ramman at some point too. Always falling out with people
windblock2007 - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
OMG this is the coolist Buzzoff I've have ever seen in my life,,,brother great job on this made my day.
Darththomas - Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Glad you think so bud, I'm pretty pleased with the way he came out.
