Mr. Freeze Custom Action Figure

Custom #:55495
Name:Mr. Freeze
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Batman
Creator:Xysma Warhorse
Date Added:November 10, 2013
Base Figure:Ghostbuster
Height:5.50 inches
A buddy wanted me to make him a Mr. Freeze to go with his '66 Batman figures, I wanted to keep the basic elements, but make him a bit grittier but still campy, I think I managed. Anyway, I used a Ghostbuster base, and a modified Darth Maul head (Epic Force I think).

BRILLIANT choice of a base figure! Long-time been a fan of your work and unique choices of bases/parts/etc. This is a really SMART custom!

This is really 'cool' if you'll pardon the bad pun. Would you ever consider selling it on eBay? IM me

Man, I've been out of it on gaming for awhile, I've got to check that out, the artwork I've seen so far is great.

great work xysma!!! I like the originality of the overall design!!! it strikes me as being a younger less refined fries as if he just had the accident and is still piecing together his final look.

That is exactly what I had in mind for this design.

Oh man, great painting on this, superb! And "Cool" idea for a Freeze to go well with the TV series figures.

Nice pun!!!! And thanks for the compliment. He fits in well with Penguin and Riddler, the Ghostbusters figures are a little small, but he stands right in between Penguin and Riddler.

Great work! My favorite part is the head!!!
Xysma Warhorse - Friday, November 22, 2013
Thanks bro, I wasn't sure it was going to work until I got that head on there, and to me, it just clicked.

Wow I would have never guessed that was a mual head, fantastic!
Xysma Warhorse - Friday, November 22, 2013
Thanks nuffsaid! It takes some time to get those horns off right, but the Maul head is great for a bald guy if you can do it.
THWIP71 - Sunday, November 10, 2013
He's missing the big red caterpillars over his eyes.
Xysma Warhorse - Friday, November 22, 2013
Ha! I came really close to adding those, but decided it would be too silly.

Sorry , didn't mean to criticized your excellent job , I'm not a fan of the 60s show (comic collector) , so I didn't know , hope I haven't offended in any way and keep the great work.
Xysma Warhorse - Sunday, November 10, 2013
No offense taken.
En-Ryu-Oh!2061 - Sunday, November 10, 2013
Very, Very Clever and original , great job , have you considered adding some sort dome or transparent helmet to him , it would definitely make him look even more like Mr.Freze, love the paint is chillingly COOL!!
Xysma Warhorse - Sunday, November 10, 2013
The one from the tv show (at least two of the three) ever had one and that's what I was trying to emulate.
NeCrollector - Sunday, November 10, 2013

Xysma Warhorse - Friday, November 22, 2013

JeddTheJedi - Sunday, November 10, 2013
Clever use of the Ghostbusters base figure and that paint job is terrific!
Xysma Warhorse - Friday, November 22, 2013
Thanks Jedd! I was afraid too much silver would wash him out, but I used a couple of different shades, so I think that helped.
