Bizarro Custom Action Figure
Hey, Realmers! Next up is a fun take on Bizarro. Sometimes a good sculpt will compel me to upgrade the figure and make it articulated. Considering Mattel's Bizarro's were lack luster and the DCD Direct figure chillin' at the comic book store needed some articulation! In this case, I had to be clever about the parts, getting his proportions correct. Sota Balrog lower legs/ boots/ shoulders arms, Hasbro Piledriver waist and LCBH Marv hands (the waist does retail some twist, but not a full 360 due to the belt overlap). I hallowed out the inside of the torso and made the Piledriver waist peg wider with a washer secured at the top and perfect groove to fit the waist peg inside (like a keyhole but round).
Some layering with the paints and plenty of Dremeling to get rid of the paint rub (surprisingly quite a bit on spacing required on legs and shoulders). I even hallowed out the neck and head opening just a bit more for more range of motion. I really dig this Bizarro and wont mind keeping it lol (EBay). Thanks again for stopping by and God bless!
