My next MOTU custom is none other than He-man's right hand man…Duncan. This custom is pretty straightforward because of the incredible job the Four horsemen had done on the original figure. Besides the lack of articulation there were only a few things about the original figure I didn't like. I thought some parts of his armor were too big and bulky. His enormous shoulder pad and his leg armor made him look too bulky and his armor too mismatched. I liked that they gave him a real armored look I just streamlined it a little to make it appear more flexible. I also liked that they didn't give his armor a uniformed look. So I used different arms and legs to accentuate that mismatched armor look. I guess the most extreme change I made was I gave him a more knightly boot instead of the furry barbarian boot. To me Man-at-arms is a kind of space knight and this boot just made more sense. When it was time to paint I contemplated using bronze or orange for his armor but it just didn't fit in with my other MOTU customs. A dirty paint job made much more sense and I even added sand to the paint on his armored boot. As always thanks for the support and I am ecstatic to be apart of this great website.

Recipe:

200x Man-at-arms: Head,chest armor,hands,loin cloth
DCU Lex Luthor: pelvis, legs, lower left arm and left boot
DCU Cyborg Superman: right arm
DCD Flashpoint Cyborg upper left arm
Neca Bionic Commando right boot
remade his arm blaster with trap jaw rifle muzzle and spawn missile

WHOA!! , he's so well made is insane dude , for moment I though it a factory made re-paint , then I zoom in and could see the parts you used and man I'm speechless , it's a perfectly flawless transition , Great, Great Work!!!

Looks incredible dude, I never had a problem with his bulky armour but now you mention it, it would kind of impede his movement. I'm loving the use of parts here and the mismatch of armour really gives it that homemade feel. The armour boot is the icing on the cake!!
