A random idea I had given we've seen the Preds hunt in a Jungle, a City and even Antarctica in the films, but there's never been a film that took place in the Desert. I could really see it taking place in Roswell... Putting my gripes with Hollywood aside, I tried to give this guy a desert-like feel to him much like Stan Winston tried to give the City Hunter a more "urban and hip" look. I did so in adorning his gear with various bone trophies and tried to even give him a Western-like look. I used this NECA Snake Predator for the most part hence his nickname is "Diamondback" as I based his skin design off a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. The bone trophies were take from various NECA Predators and even some Halloween decorations. The sword came from the McFarlane Belit and the chain and the nunchucks were just some random fodder parts I happened upon. The carrying case came from the NECA City Hunter and his chest armor and right plasmacaster came from the NECA Berserker Predator while the right one came from the NECA Wolf Predator. His forearms came from NECA Classic Predators, his hands from the NECA Elder Predator and his head came from the NECA Classic Predator (with Gort Mask). I sculpted the bio mask using Epoxy Modeling Putty and made the cape from cloth. Painted using Citadel Paints.
Amongst the dirt in the blazing days and the freezing nights, the Desert Hunter runs afoot, hunting for new prey. Unlike the many warrior Omega Yautja, Desert Hunter enjoys to kill for sport rather than for warfare. With his golden colored Wrist Blades, the Desert Hunter searches to stain the metal with the blood of his prey.
