Can I just say INCREDIBLE work and wanted to ask if you would be willing to give me pointers or point me in the direction of books, websites, youtube videos etc on how to make such incredible dioramas for my Marvel Legends that I am planning to put on display using dioramas instead of just a display case (which I am saving for my statues and MOC figures. My email is cbclark at outlook dot com (avoid the filter) and would be honored to chat with someone with your talent and skill level. Thanks, and damn man, what a superb job!

Thanks so much. I would love to give you pointers. Here's a few:
- Start with an idea of what you want to build (I found that the hardest part for me is that I'm really excited to make something, but when I don't have a clear idea of what to make, I get frustrated and lose interest.)
- Be willing to use a variety of materials that fit you (for example, I hate using materials that are messy. For this project, I stepped out of the realm of acrylics and used craft paper for the walls and floor and adhered them to the foamboard with double sided tape)
- Detail is your sidekick! (After watching the part in Ironman 2 where Stark is in his garage about 30 times, I picked up on some details that I wanted to use to "ground" the project with a little reality. I made the circuit breaker boxes, columns, and fire cabinet out of pink foam wrapped in paper. I printed details on the paper with my home printer.
- Tutorials are your best friend (I watched A LOT of Warhammer 40k terrain videos on YouTube for pointers on how to start and how to finish. They also have a lot of great ideas on how make things look more realistic.)
- Have the right tools ( my go to tools: rulers, pencils, protractor, hot glue gun, scissors, exacto knife, carpet knife, sandpaper, foam brushes for when I do paint). Having the right tools can really make a project a breeze!
- Rome wasn't built in a day (have patience when starting a build. If you find yourself getting frustrated, take a break for a few hours or even days. Don't let the fun turn into a frustration.

I have a lot more that I'd like to offer. If you have any other questions let me know. I am currently working on a new project that is probably not as exciting, but it's part of a bigger project. I'll keep you updated.

Are you the guy that put this on Youtube a while ago? Anyway, it looks real good, especially suitable for a playset.

My first thoughts when I saw this were "Holy Bejeeses, that's awesome!" and I still stand by them! It looks beautiful!

If you don't mind me asking, how big is it overall?

Thanks for your great comments. It is about 36" wide, 25" deep, and 12" high. There's more to it, I couldn't get all the pics to download.
